Working closely with the Headteacher and senior leadership team, the Deputy Headteacher will play a central role in providing clear vision, leadership and direction, driving school improvement. We are looking for someone who: Demonstrates a professional and confident approach to working with colleagues, with the ability to build and sustain effective relationships Can lead, motivate, support and challenge staff to secure continuous improvement in teaching and learning Has high ambition for pupils and staff, with a clear focus on raising standards and improving outcomes Shows a strong understanding of how different roles within the academy contribute to whole-school effectiveness, and can support others to fulfil these roles well Builds excellent relationships with children and brings a genuine commitment to, and enjoyment of, the role of school leadership.
