We are seeking an experienced SC Cleared Policy & Standards Lead to define, align, and embed cloud security policies and standards within a secure government cloud capability. This role ensures policy compliance with Defence Digital and wider HMG governance while enabling scalable and interoperable cloud adoption.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct an initial policy discovery and gap analysis
* Develop and maintain cloud policies and standards aligned to Defence Digital governance
* Ensure compliance with JSPs, GovS 007, and the MOD Security Policy Framework
* Produce onboarding, service management, and operational security standards
* Lead stakeholder workshops to validate and socialise policy outputs
* Report progress, risks, and RAG status to delivery leadership
* Provide assurance that policies are enforceable and governance-aligned
Essential Skills & Experience
* Strong working knowledge of MOD and HMG policy frameworks (JSPs, GovS 007, MOD SPF)
* Proven experience authoring security, operational, and cloud policies
* Experience supporting secure cloud adoption across OFFICIAL and SECRET domains
* Excellent written communication and policy drafting skills
* Confident stakeholder engagement and facilitation capability
