Job Opportunity: Clinical Service Specialist
An outstanding new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Clinical Service Specialist to oversee a group of dialysis clinics based in the Wales, Lincolnshire, Devon, and London area. You will be working for one of the UK's leading dialysis providers.
You will supervise clinical staff within your area of responsibility to ensure the maintenance of a safe clinical environment and the provision of safe, quality clinical care.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must be qualified as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC Pin and have previous clinical leadership experience in an outpatient haemodialysis setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting quality initiatives in the clinics, including special projects and complex programs
* Providing support and education to team members in your area
* Supporting the clinical lead in achieving action plans and clinical goals
* Reporting regularly to the Head of Nursing on activities
* Managing mandatory training and competency assessments for team members
* Supervising clinical staff to ensure safe clinical environments
* Monitoring clinical KPIs and patient safety programs
* Developing corrective action plans related to patient safety
* Ensuring quality management programs are implemented and effective
Preferred Skills and Experience:
* Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to connect with diverse teams and patients
* Leadership by example to foster a value-driven culture
* Proactive, solution-oriented approach in a clinical environment
* Strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks
* Evidence of Continued Professional Development, ideally in Renal Care
* Must be a car driver
Compensation and Benefits:
The successful candidate will receive an excellent salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, along with a company car allowance or a company car. This is a permanent, full-time position working Monday to Saturday during the day, with occasional overnight stays due to regional coverage.
