The role isdynamic, challenging and fast-paced. You will be supporting Consultants,Medical Staff and Specialist Clinical Practitioner with all administration tasks required to support patient care and contribute to smooth running of the service

Main duties of the job
You will haveexperience of working in a team, providing administrative support in an officeenvironment. The role involves communication, so we expect that you haveexcellent verbal and written skills. These will be tested as you producereports, maintain filing systems and records and take accurate meeting minutes.We expect you to have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, withlevel two standard in Word and Excel as a minimum. Typing and processing of correspondence and assessments, diary management, digital dictation, database management, you will have direct contact with services users, families, carers, care homes and professional agencies and organisations. You will provide adhoc cover for reception when required.
Interactingwith patients and the public you will be confident in giving non-clinicalinformation and advice that improves their experience. Dealing with sensitiveinformation daily, you will understand the importance of data security.
You will oftenwork under pressure and without direct supervision, so we are looking forsomeone confident and capable. You will prioritise tasks, and manage your ownworkload, providing support for your colleagues where required.You will becomean important part of the team, working to ensure that every patient receiveshigh quality care.

Qualifications
* Business Administration Level 3 / T Level qualification in Management and Administration, or equivalent experience.
* GCSE English or equivalent
* Evidence of continuing professional and personal development
* AMPSPAR or BSMA Certificate in Medical Terminology or equivalent qualification.
* ICDL (International Computer Driving License), or equivalent experience.
Experience
* This role requires the ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English.
* Good numeracy and literacy skills.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal including the ability to deal professionally and tactfully with people at all levels.
* Intermediate IT skills in Microsoft Office Packages, ie Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
* Effective organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload in a demanding environment.
* Working knowledge of a range of administrative procedures including diary management, arranging appointments and supporting meetings.
* Experience of general office routine and filing systems
* Experience or understanding of creating electronic records, electronic filing systems.
