Responsibilities
* Own the Sales Game: Crush sales goals by delivering next-level customer experiences, upselling must-have accessories, and hyping up promos to drive revenue.
* Piercing Excellence: Join the ranks of our piercing experts through comprehensive training. Become a trusted guide for customers – conducting piercings, educating on aftercare, maintaining a sterile environment, addressing questions and concerns throughout the process.
* Keep It Fresh: Maintain an Insta-worthy store with perfect displays, organized inventory, and easy-to-shop layouts that make browsing fun and effortless.
* Team Collaboration: Support your Store Manager by motivating the team, sharing sales tips, and creating a positive, high-energy vibe that customers (and coworkers) love.
* Brand Representation: Showcase Claire’s products and services. Stay plugged into the latest fashion and social media trends to help customers find their perfect style. Use your knowledge to suggest products and boost sales.
* Store Operations: Oversee store operations with efficiency and flair. From managing inventory and handling cash transactions to visual merchandising and coordinating promotional activities, you ensure that every aspect of store operations reflects the fun and joy that defines Claire’s.
* Create Shareable Moments: Encourage customers to show off their new accessories and piercings on social media, turning their Claire’s haul into the next viral moment.
* Sales-Obsessed Energy: You love the thrill of making a sale, hitting goals, and turning browsers into buyers.
* Social & Digital Savvy: You know what’s trending and how to translate that into an amazing customer experience.
* Customer-First Mentality: You get people, and you love making them feel confident and empowered.
* Retail & Leadership Skills: At least one year of retail experience, ideally with some leadership or sales-driving responsibility.
* Ready to Hustle: You’re organized, self-motivated, and always looking for ways to level up. You can conduct piercings and demonstrate patience and empathy, particularly with young or anxious customers.
* POS Proficiency: You are proficient in operating a POS system to facilitate transactions and manage sales efficiently, contributing to smooth store operations.
* Experience: You have completed some high school and have at least one year of retail management experience.
* Physical Requirements: You can stand during scheduled shifts and maneuver 11-35 kg (25-75 lbs). You can bend, stoop, extend reaching, and climb ladders or step stools while placing merchandise and assisting customers.
* Customer and Brand Focus: You are passionate about providing our customers with opportunities to express themselves freely every day and are energized by interacting with customers to deliver excellent service.
* Values and Communication: You are inspired by teamwork, compassion, integrity, customer delight, diversity, and self-expression. You have strong verbal and written communication skills and a solid grasp of mathematics for inventory, sales analysis, and cash handling.
* Team Player: You are a driven team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. You’re self-motivated and organized, as some stores may require working alone at times. You stay up to date with fashion trends to enhance the customer experience and drive sales.

Qualifications
* 1+ year of retail experience with some leadership or sales-driving responsibility preferred.
* Ability to conduct piercings (where permitted) and demonstrate patience and empathy with customers.
* Proficient in POS systems and cash handling.
* Strong numeracy, communication, and customer service skills.
