A leading UK professional services firm is looking to hire a Business Development Manager to support growth across its Southern region.
This is a newly created role with a strong focus on driving revenue through intermediary relationships, strategic targeting, and partner engagement. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders to identify opportunities, build pipelines, and embed a more commercial, proactive BD culture.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
* Develop and deliver regional business development strategies aligned to firmwide priorities
* Build and manage key intermediary relationships, driving new business opportunities
* Lead client targeting and cross-selling initiatives across multiple service lines
* Support high-quality pitch and tender activity
* Partner with senior stakeholders to shape and execute growth plans
* Track performance, pipeline and ROI, using data to inform decision-making
The role requires:
* 5+ years’ experience in business development within professional or financial services
* Strong track record working with senior stakeholders and influencing at partner level
* Experience in intermediary management, client targeting, or relationship development
* Commercial mindset with the ability to identify and progress opportunities
* Highly organised, proactive, and collaborative approach
