The Role As a Business Development Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving apprenticeship growth by identifying, developing, and managing employer relationships across the Midlands. Your responsibilities will include: * Generating new business opportunities and nurturing long-term client partnerships. * Achieving monthly and annual targets through strategic lead generation and account management. * Promoting apprenticeship and training solutions that meet client needs. * Contributing to bids, tenders, and marketing campaigns to support business expansion. * Acting as an ambassador at networking events, building the organisation’s profile within key markets. This is a field-based role with regular travel across the Midlands (including areas such as Chesterfield, Corby, Coventry, Leicester, and Wolverhampton), with flexibility to work from home and regional offices. The Ideal Candidate You’re an ambitious and motivated professional with: * At least 5 years’ experience in sales or marketing, ideally within the adult education or apprenticeship sector. * A strong understanding of apprenticeship funding models and employer engagement. * Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales targets. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. * The confidence to represent the organisation at all levels, from SMEs to large employers. * A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
