Salary: £28,000 - £32,000
Hours: 24 hours off rota, 16 hours on rota (including sleeps 1-2 per month)
This is a 6-bed service for adults with Learning Disabilities.
The role involves overseeing two services:
* The first is fully occupied with 4 gentlemen, with varying needs, mostly independent with minimal hours.
* The second service comprises two cottages, each with 1 female resident.
Staff team across both services totals 16 members.
Experience in leadership, not just management, is essential.
As Support Team Leader/Service Manager, you will oversee the service, lead a team of support staff, and ensure high standards of care and support are maintained. Your responsibilities include staff management, training, compliance, and supporting individuals with learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage support staff.
* Provide guidance, support, and supervision to ensure high-quality care.
* Oversee recruitment, training, and staff development.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and policies.
* Build positive relationships with individuals, families, and stakeholders.
* Monitor and review care plans and support strategies.
* Coordinate with other departments and professionals.
* Manage budgets, resources, and administrative tasks.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Supervisory experience in CQC regulated settings.
* Strong leadership and management skills.
* Level 5 in health and social care or working towards it.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices.
* Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
