Residential Conveyancer Location: Chorley, Lancashire An established and highly regarded law firm in Chorley is looking for an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its thriving Property Department. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-focused professional to handle a varied caseload of residential property matters within a supportive, forward-thinking and client-focused environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the firm’s reputation for delivering high-quality, efficient and personable legal services to clients across Lancashire and beyond. Key Responsibilities Residential Conveyancer to manage a full and varied caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to post-completion, including sales, purchases, remortgages, new builds, shared ownerships and transfers of equity. Provide clear, practical and commercially sound legal advice to clients while maintaining the highest standards of client care and service delivery. Liaising effectively with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, brokers and other solicitors to ensure transactions progress smoothly and efficiently. Ensuring compliance with all regulatory obligations, including those set by the SRA and the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS). Accurately preparing and reviewing all legal documentation and maintaining up-to-date case records using the firm’s case management system. Contributing positively to the Property Department and supporting colleagues in maintaining a collaborative and efficient working environment. About You You will be a qualified Residential Conveyancer, Solicitor, or Legal Executive with proven experience in managing your own caseload of residential conveyancing files from start to finish. A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, capable of building trusted relationships with clients and colleagues. Confident in prioritising and managing multiple matters simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Proactive, professional and adaptable, with a commitment to continuous professional development and delivering outstanding client service.
