Teen/Youth Senior/Designer – Teen & Young Fashion

An established high street supplier is seeking a talented Teen/Youth Senior/Designer with experience across jersey, softs, and multi-product ranges. This is a hands-on role, requiring creativity, commercial awareness, and the ability to lead designs for teen and youth collections. You’ll work independently while mentoring junior designers and presenting confidently to buyers.
What you’ll do:
* Design trend-led childrenswear collections across jersey, soft wovens, and multi-product.
* Research trends and market insights to inspire innovative designs.
* Develop ranges, create presentations, and maintain clear communication with buyers.
* Support production and ensure designs meet quality, commercial, and timeline expectations.
* Mentor and guide junior designers, providing feedback and fostering development.
About you:
* 5–7 years’+ experience in young/teen fashion, with multi-product knowledge.
* Strong commercial awareness and understanding of teen/youth markets.
* Confident presenting to buyers and working independently.
* Excellent communication skills, collaborating effectively with colleagues, buyers, and suppliers.
* Organised, proactive, and able to deliver under tight deadlines.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Illustrator; 3D design experience is a bonus.
* Educated to degree level, preferably in fashion design.
