Industrial Refrigeration Engineer – Ammonia Refrigeration – South East – Up to £54,000
Basic salary up to £54,000, dependent on experience. OTE £70,000 plus. Company vehicle (available for domestic and personal use), mobile phone, laptop, fuel card, credit card, and door‑to‑door. 40‑hour week, 34 days holiday, overtime and bonuses on offer, tools and PPE provided. Ongoing training and development. Private healthcare, death in service, company‑contributed pension.
About the Company
We are a well‑established industrial refrigeration, commercial refrigeration and air‑conditioning installation company operating across the South East of the UK. The role is mobile and involves planned and reactive service, attending breakdowns, fault‑finding and maintenance works on large industrial food distribution and processing plants.
Responsibilities
* Service, repair, maintenance and commissioning of industrial & ammonia refrigeration units, including multi‑compressor packages, food factory process cooling, blast cooling systems and F‑Gas equipment.
* Work autonomously from home, occasionally in pairs for larger jobs, covering a territory in the South East.
* Support customers in industries such as food & beverages, production, pharmaceutical and others.
* Plan work in advance; be on call 1 week in 7 on a reactive/call‑out basis (including weekends).
Requirements
* Experience working within industrial commercial properties, holding both F‑Gas and ammonia qualifications.
* Hands‑on servicing experience in industrial or ammonia refrigeration; chiller & compressor experience also considered.
* Experience in commissioning, maintenance and servicing of industrial refrigeration and/or compressor systems.
* Experience with controls and integration.
* Full UK driving licence.
