OakNorth is hiring a Team Assistant to work with our CEO and Co-Founder as we embark on the next phase of our company's growth. The Team Assistant is an integral part of the CEO's Office, reporting into the CEO, and working alongside the CEO's Executive Assistant. This is a unique role - requiring someone with great adaptability who can switch from administrative support to operational analyst, to research associate, to on-the-fly logistics execution. This role is an ideal next step for an overachieving administrative assistant looking to step up and take the next step in their career, or a hungry recent grad looking for experience running alongside a highly successful entrepreneur. The key outcome for someone in this role is optimising for our CEO and Co-Founder so he can help grow and drive the business. Each day will be different: whether hustling to find a path into a new client, reshuffling the diary to ensure he's focussed on the right things, pulling together a pack with the Chief of Staff for a new investor meeting, or solving complex cross-border travel problems - no one day will be the same. This role requires someone who can think on their feet, highly responsive, and executes at pace while keeping a 'steady hand' on the controls. Responsibilities: Help manage the CEO's priorities with a constantly moving, granular, dynamic schedule across a range of competing priorities and stakeholders - somehow squeezing extra hours into each day and allowing him to be in multiple places at once. Ensure the CEO is prepped for his day - doing deep dives and profiles ahead of meetings, and ensuring internal content is clean, logical, and ready for his consumption. Maintain oversight of the diary in relation to CEOs priorities, working in partnership with the EA to ensure logical, prioritised execution that allows CEO to operate at full capacity. Able to fully step in and execute diary management during EA absences, and / or on ad hoc basis throughout day where it enables efficient operation. Book complex, international travel that can change at a moment's notice and require deep dives into travel logistics, while keeping the company and the founder's family office aligned and in sync. Ensure processes and outcomes are optimised across all areas of CEO's life: including business, family, travel, etc. Be ready to jump on 'left field' tasks at a moment's notice - whether that's sourcing a jacket for an unexpected formal lunch, fixing an iPad that's having technical problems, or finding contact information for someone not spoken to in years. Requirements: Prior experience in a start-up environment, ideally as an Assistant, Analyst or Associate working directly with CEO or Founders. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring exceptional quality in all deliverables. Strong academics - bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, entrepreneurship, or a related field. Previous experience as an executive assistant to start-up founders is desirable. Ability to multitask effectively, and comfortable working in agile everchanging environments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and various project management tools. Demonstrated ability to think critically, solve problems, and make informed decisions. Highly motivated, self-directed, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively. Exceptional interpersonal skills - oral and written. Benefits & Perks: Equity. We want people to have a stake in the business so that all our interests are aligned. 25 days holiday Personalized benefits - opt-in to what matters to you.
