Are you looking for an opportunity to support those suffering from mental health issues?
We have an exciting opportunity to join our fantastic wards based in Suffolk, we are looking for Band 3 Clinical Support Workers that are passionate about recovery led care with a focus on promoting least restrictive practice in Suffolk.
You will be working across our two adult inpatient wards, Southgate and Northgate, as well as Abbeygate our older people inpatient ward.

You will need to be enthusiastic and conscientious and do everything you can to provide the best care to our service users. placing great emphasis on the assessment/recovery model by using assessment tools relating to service user recovery and the philosophy that underpins patient centred care.
Providing direct patient care such as personal care and promoting activities of daily living
Having a good understanding of mental health diagnoses and presentation including appropriate boundaries
Undertaking therapeutic observations of all service users Supporting service users on a 1:1 basis who may require varying levels of support
Undertaking physical health observations and COVID swabbing
Taking service users on leave in the community

NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification OR experience


Mental Health First Aid

Previous experience within the care sector
