About the role:
Our client is looking to recruit an experienced residential property fee earner into their Oxfordshire office, welcoming applications from Associate through to Senior Associate level. You will manage your own varied caseload across all aspects of residential conveyancing. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with three days per week in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday and one further day) following successful completion of a probation period. About you:
* A qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Legal Executive with the knowledge and experience to hit the ground running.
* A solid background in residential property with hands-on conveyancing experience.
* Confident managing your own caseload whilst effectively delegating to and supporting those around you.
* A natural communicator with strong client relationship skills and a genuine commitment to delivering an exceptional service.
What you’ll be doing:
* Manage your own caseload of residential property files, handling transactions effectively from instruction through to completion.
* Build strong, trusted relationships with clients by managing expectations clearly around options, outcomes, risk and timescales.
* Scope and agree fees with existing clients, ensuring transparency and value throughout.
* Continuously develop your market and sector knowledge, positioning yourself as a credible expert to clients.
* Take a proactive approach to risk management, contributing to a responsible and risk-aware team culture.
* Grow and nurture both internal and external networks, including clients, intermediaries and professional contacts.
* Support and mentor junior members of the team, sharing technical, commercial and practical guidance.
* Work towards both personal and team KPIs, regularly measuring and reflecting on your own performance.
