Theatre Practitioner – Operating Department Practitioner (SCUB)
Location: Ipswich Hospital – Nursing, Bank, Ad hoc (includes weekend work).
Pay: Up to £35 per hour, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
* Work in a multi‑disciplinary team covering a varied patient caseload.
* Use state‑of‑the‑art technology, equipment and facilities.
* Supervise, support and develop junior members of the team.
* Provide high‑quality peri‑operative care in a multidisciplinary team setting.
* Create high‑quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence‑based.
* Have ample opportunities for continuous growth and personal development, which can include Surgical First Assist training.
Qualifications
Registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC or HCPC). Post‑registration experience in scrub or theatre roles within a theatre environment. Team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.
