Overview
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and enjoy spending time outdoors, preferring not to be confined to a 9-5 office role? Our client is looking for Meter Readers across Norwich. This is a fantastic role for someone self-motivated to work independently. Within this role you will also have the opportunity to acquire a company car.
Responsibilities
* Collect data from gas, electric and water meters using a handheld electronic device and other equipment to ensure customers receive accurate and up-to-date bills.
* Plan your route and manage your schedule and workload to achieve weekly targets set by the field delivery manager.
* Occasional longer-distance walks may be required as not all customers live in built-up areas.
* Report any dangerous meter installations or suspected signs of tampering.
* Receive full training; prior experience is not required.
Working Hours
Full-time flexible basis between 8am and 8pm, 30 hours per week, Monday to Sunday.
Requirements
* Approachable, presentable, and polite; acts as an ambassador for the company.
* Physically fit due to the nature of the role.
* Ability to plan and manage workload independently and work toward targets.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Ability to work to timescales and under pressure; flexible approach to tasks and working.
* Friendly personality with a professional approach to work.
* Pass screening and vetting standards and pass a DBS check.
* Full training provided; experience is not necessary.
