Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive specialist school in the Tadley area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SEN practitioner—or a committed teacher looking to further develop their expertise—to make a meaningful impact during a maternity cover period.
About the Role
As the SEN Teacher, you will:
Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs.
Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and senior leaders to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
Use creative approaches to ensure all pupils can access the curriculum and make strong progress.
Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils, families, and external agencies.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Holds QTS or QTLS.
Has experience working with children with SEN (e.g., ASD, ADHD, MLD, SEMH, PMLD).
Demonstrates patience, empathy, and resilience.
Is confident adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
