Sales Administrator and Customer Service Assistant
The Sales Administrator and Customer Service Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the sales function, managing customer accounts, and ensuring a seamless end‑to‑end customer experience. This position is responsible for preparing sales documentation, coordinating orders, resolving customer queries, and maintaining strong, long‑term relationships with customers. The ideal candidate is highly organised, detail‑oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional service.
Sales Responsibilities
* Prepare and process sales quotations and orders with accuracy and efficiency.
* Enter and maintain up‑to‑date sales data within CRM and internal systems.
* Coordinate order processing, delivery schedules, and follow‑up communication.
* Support the sales team through documentation management, reporting, and pipeline tracking.
* Ensure full compliance with company policies, BRCGS and ISO standards, pricing structures, and internal approval processes.
Customer Service
* Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
* Provide accurate and timely information regarding products, services, order status, and account details.
* Handle customer complaints professionally, ensuring quick resolution and a positive customer experience.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage satisfaction and repeat business.
* Escalate complex or sensitive issues to relevant departments when required.
* Collaborate closely with sales, logistics, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth and efficient order fulfilment.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in sales support, administration, or customer service.
* Strong organisational and multitasking capabilities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.
