Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Teacher looking for your next role? We are currently working with a friendly and supportive primary school in the Malton area that is looking to appoint a committed Year5 Teacher to cover a one year maternity leave. This is a full time position, Monday to Friday, within a school that was rated “Good” in its most recent Ofsted inspection.
What You’ll Do:
* Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons to a Year 5 class
* Monitor and assess pupil progress, tailoring your approach to support individual learning needs
* Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes high expectations
* Support pupils’ academic progress as well as their personal and social development

What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience teaching in KS2
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* A confident and adaptable teaching style that engages and motivates pupils
* Strong assessment skills and the ability to support progress across a mixed-age class
* A genuine passion for teaching and making a difference in the classroom
* A DBS on the update service is desirable, although we can assist with the application process
