ROLE
Due to continued growth, our client is looking to recruit an Audit & Assurance Senior to join their Newcastle office. You will play a key role in delivering audit and accountancy services to a varied portfolio of clients while supporting Managers and Partners on a range of assignments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Preparing statutory accounts for limited company clients for Manager and Partner review.
* Planning, coordinating and completing audit assignments and accounts work.
* Liaising directly with clients to obtain information and ensure assignments run smoothly.
* Ensuring audit and accounts assignments are completed within agreed budgets and timescales.
* Completing audit files and supporting larger group audit assignments.
* Leading sections of audits and supporting junior team members where required.
* Supporting Managers and Partners with the delivery of high-quality client service.
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
* Assisting with general administration and compliance within the Audit & Assurance department.
ABOUT YOU
To be considered for this role, you should have:
* ACA, ACCA or ICAS qualification.
* A minimum of 3 years' audit experience within a UK accountancy practice or registered audit firm.
* Strong knowledge of audit methodology and accounts preparation.
* Experience preparing statutory accounts.
* Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
* Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
* The ability to manage workloads and deadlines effectively.
* A proactive and collaborative approach to work.
* A full UK driving licence.
