Daily Rate: £130 – £150 (PAYE)

TeacherActive is working closely with a well-regarded secondary school in Bath to recruit a reliable and confident Cover Supervisor to start immediately.
This is a long-term role in a supportive and welcoming school community. The successful candidate will be joining a team of dedicated staff who are committed to providing a positive learning environment for all students.
The Role:
As Cover Supervisor, you’ll step into the classroom to deliver pre-set lessons in the absence of the class teacher. You’ll need to manage classroom behaviour, keep pupils on task, and ensure a smooth continuation of learning.
There is no planning or marking involved, but a calm, professional approach and a genuine interest in supporting young people is essential.
What We’re Looking For:
A CACHE Level 2/3 qualification or minimum 6 months of recent classroom-based experience
Strong classroom management skills
Confident leading lessons across different subjects and year groups (ages 11–16)
Professional, reliable, and able to build positive relationships with staff and students
Available to start immediately and commit to a consistent, ongoing role
