Oxford, Home based
If you have experience in planning and/or delivery of events or major projects and can demonstrate the ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and competing deadlines, then read on.
We have a number of roles available, which fall into the following categories:
1. Event planning only roles: These are home-based roles. You will need good, stable broadband, the ability to flex your diary, and ideally experience in project managing teams remotely, as well as event planning and management.
2. Event delivery only roles: These roles require experience in facilitating events, ideally with young people (from primary to secondary age students). You must be able and willing to travel (mainly locally), have a flexible diary, and access to a car. NB: you will be paid travel expenses and travel time (where journeys take over an hour).
3. Planning and delivery roles: These roles combine the requirements of the above two roles.
About Us
Ahead Partnership works with employers and educators to provide services that help to engage, inspire, and motivate young people around skills, career options, and future employment. Can you bring passion and individuality to our growing programmes?
We organise and deliver a range of employability and skills activities that enable young people to meet volunteers from the working world. These activities aim to raise aspirations, improve career awareness, develop essential skills, build confidence, and expand networks.
Recent years have seen us broaden our reach through hybrid delivery, with activities taking place both virtually and in person, from interview practice to workplace visits. All our activities are designed to engage the target cohort and involve lots of hands-on interactivity. We also plan and deliver large-scale flagship events themed around sectors such as digital, green, or professional and financial services. These events inspire young people to explore roles in these areas through an interactive and informative schedule.
Our clients are central to everything we do. As our representative, you'll need to share our commitment to delivering a first-class service to all involved in our activities and events.
You'll work alongside and be supported by a dedicated team passionate about making a difference and ambitious for what we can achieve.
We value diversity and inclusion and believe it's key to provide young people with relatable positive role models. We encourage applications from individuals who reflect this diversity. If you share our passion and vision but worry about lacking specific skills or experience, please get in touch; we are always interested in hearing from people eager to work with us.
We offer generous hourly/day rates. No direct experience is required as full training will be provided. Prior experience working with young people, within education, or teaching would be advantageous.
You will need to;
* Be passionate about being part of a purpose-led business

* Embrace change and be flexible in your work approach
* Be comfortable working with the wider team and external stakeholders, including employers and teachers
