Based at our vibrant Sidcup site, you'll contribute to innovation, protect product integrity, and collaborate across teamsall within a fast-paced, industry-leading FMCG environment. What You'll Do: Be the Microbiologist Technician on-site, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. You'll: Run microbiological testing on products, raw materials, and the environment to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards. Partner with R&D and Production teams to support the safe launch of new, sensitive products. Investigate and resolve microbiological deviations, using your expertise to drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions. Improve site microbiological validationcovering hygiene, equipment, and CIP (Clean-in-Place) systems. Monitor site-wide microbiological trends, proactively identifying and addressing potential contamination risks. Keep the lab running at its bestmanaging equipment, inventories, and embracing new technologies to enhance efficiency. What You Bring to the Table: Experience in Microbiology, Food Science, or a related fieldor equivalent practical experience. Previous experience in an FMCG, beverage, or food production lab (preferred but not essential). Solid understanding of microbiological methods, food safety, and lab best practices.
