Transport Manager - Sidcup (DA14) | Immediate Start
Trax is currently recruiting for an experienced Transport Manager to join our client based in Sidcup. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of transport operations and play a key role in driving performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily transport operations ensuring on-time, in-full deliveries
* Lead, motivate, develop transport team to achieve operational excellence
* Manage resources while ensuring compliance with WTD and EU driver hours regulations
* Maintain O Licence compliance including service schedules and defect reporting
* Promote and uphold a strong health & safety culture across all operations
* Work collaboratively with internal teams to improve processes and efficiencies
* Manage third-party hauliers, control costs, investigate non-conformance issues
* Monitor KPIs and financial performance to ensure targets are consistently met
Qualifications
* Proven experience in transport management
* Background in waste operations essential
* Experience with skip lorries and RoRo vehicles
* FORS experience desirable (training can be provided if required)
