We’re hiring Specialist Learning Support Assistants to help students with SEND, autism, SEMH needs, and physical disabilities in both primary and secondary schools. Leader Education is working with schools across Pontefract to recruit committed support staff for full-time, long-term and temp-to-perm roles. About the Role This is a full-time role (Monday–Friday) where you will: Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups Help students regulate behaviour and emotions Support communication using visual and structured approaches Work closely with teaching and pastoral teams Promote independence and confidence Contribute to a safe, structured learning environment You will support pupils with ASC, SEMH, ADHD, and moderate to complex learning difficulties.
