A welcoming, vibrant primary school located in Gloucester is currently recruiting for a teaching assistant to support children’s learning in Foundation stage, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2. This is an appealing opportunity for a graduate teaching assistant to kick start their career in the education sector whilst gaining a deeper understanding of the curriculum development and classroom dynamics.
A graduate with a degree graded 2:2 or above is recommended for this role, and a graduate with work experience with children is desirable but not an essential requirement. Relevant experience for the Teaching Assistant role could include tutoring, coaching, mentoring, childcare, assisting in a nursery, or similar experience within a classroom. Experience supporting children with ASD, behavioral issues, and learning difficulties would be extremely beneficial for this role.
