Founded in 2011, Steven Gerrard Academy specialise in the delivery of specialist football and education courses with a mission to create pathways for the next generation of sports industry professionals. Students progress to UK and USA universities, international and academy coaching and all levels of football, some even professional football.
Steven Gerrard Academy operates in several countries including England, Northern Ireland, Wales and Spain with more than 700 young people on roll and employs a full-time staff of 50+ experienced teaching, sports and business specialists, ex professional players, with the Senior Leadership Team overseeing all aspects of the programme.
The main role will include-:
* Professional standards adhered to at all times in classrooms and on pitches
* Preparation and delivery of lessons to the Academy’s required standard (content, assessment, feedback and resources)
* Monitoring and tracking (accurate record-keeping, timely assignment completion, attendance and punctuality)
* Use of Academy & funding provider systems ( Guru, Moodle, Evolve, Sports Session Planner, Sport Science equipment)
* Supporting identified learners on 1-1 or small group basis
* Reporting learner progress to Site Lead & funding provider, parents/carers, agencies
* Covering lessons for absent staff when required
* Attendance at parents’ evenings, open days and recruitment events
* Attendance at CPD events in conjunction with SGA/ funding provider (including annual updating on E&D, safeguarding)
* Coaching and team management as directed by Site Lead/ Director of Football
* Adhering to Football Curriculum as directed by Site Lead/ Director of Football
* All aspects of Football admin complete in a timely manner (registers, player and team reports)
* Tour management
* Recruitment of new students/ players
* Other duties identified by the Director of Operations

Salary £27,000- £32,000 Full time (Some evening and weekend working may be required from time to time).
