Enterprise Network Manager
Location: Ipswich - Hybrid – 3 Days Office / 2 Days Remote (After Probation)
Salary: £65,000 – £80,000 + 7.5% Bonus + Benefits

A leading UK-based organisation within the utilities and infrastructure sector is seeking a Corporate Communications Network Manager to join their Technology & Strategy division. This permanent role plays a key part in ensuring the effective operation, governance, and future development of their on-premise corporate network infrastructure, serving thousands of users across London and the South East.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and ongoing support of the organisation’s corporate communications network. You’ll act as the key technical liaison with trusted third-party Communications Service Providers (CSPs), ensuring infrastructure performance, security, scalability, and alignment to strategic goals
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the day-to-day relationship with third-party CSPs, translating internal requirements into technical outcomes.
* Lead the development and enforcement of network processes aligned with wider IT strategy.
* Design and document scalable, repeatable network models for deployment.
* Maintain accurate network infrastructure documentation and records.
* Provide technical assurance and compliance review of CSP deliverables.
* Own and communicate network-related risks, impacts, and capacity forecasts to senior stakeholders.
* Act as SME during major incidents, providing technical insight and business impact analysis.
* Mediate between end users and third parties for changes to live environments.
* Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and security standards.
* Promote inclusive and collaborative working relationships both internally and externally.
Essential Experience & Skills
* Proven background in managing communication networks and third-party partners.
* Strong IP networking skills including TCP/IP, routing, and LAN resilience technologies (SPBM, HSRP/VRRP).
* Hands-on experience with:
-Cisco Viptela SDWAN
-Extreme LAN switches
-Avaya VoIP platforms
-ITIL processes and frameworks
* Proficient in creating network diagrams using AutoCAD and Visio.
* Ability to clearly explain complex technical matters to a non-technical audience.
* Familiarity with infrastructure compliance and cyber security best practices.
