National Highways has an excellent opportunity for an Asset Data & Intelligence Technician to join our team in the Northwest region. The Asset Data & Intelligence Technician will input, maintain, and improve asset data within the National Highways suite of asset databases to support needs assessment, investment decisions, and maintenance activities for the Planning & Development, Scheme, and Service Delivery teams.
* Accurately input, manage, and maintain asset data in a timely manner, held in National Highways asset databases following current guidance and standards (ADMM, DMRB).
* Undertake asset inventory and survey updates promptly in accordance with ADMM.
* Maintain and input reactive and cyclic maintenance data into Confirm to enable Service Delivery Teams to monitor M&R performance and progress.
* Ensure datasets within Confirm are accurate and complete to support the production of the Maintenance Requirements Plan.
* Assist the wider business in fulfilling asset data requests, including third parties and customers, by providing relevant data in suitable formats.
About you
* 5 GCSEs or relevant qualifications or experience
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, especially Excel
* Experience with GIS mapping applications
* Understanding of National Highways asset databases (or similar)
* Good communication skills
