Role Overview:
To be an active tutor delivering all levels of English from entry to GCSE. The role involves providing high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment that meets the service's standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, and resources for accredited and non-accredited courses.
* Complete administrative tasks, including registers, learner agreements, risk assessments, and records in line with RARPA.
* Assess and mark learners’ work according to qualification standards.
* Provide ongoing individual/group assessments to support learning, achievement, and progression.
* Ensure individual learner needs are met, with progress monitored and reflected in lesson planning.
Key Requirements:
To succeed, you need at minimum:
* Relevant subject qualification at level 5 or equivalent
* Teaching qualification
* Excellent organizational skills for online and face-to-face teaching within the Post 19 sector; practitioner experience in English.
