We are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Bias to join a leading construction materials business based near Loughborough, Leicestershire as an Electrically bias Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role within an ambitious and hardworking team.
Responsibilities
* Diagnosing and repairing faults in machinery and equipment.
* Installing new machinery and equipment.
* Conducting tests on machinery and electrical equipment to identify potential issues.
* Complete PPMs and Reactive Maintenance when required.
* Maintain full electrical functionality on motors, invertors, safety circuits and perform fault finding on PLC's and adjust programme where necessary.
* Always considering safe working as a priority.
Requirements/Qualifications
* Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
* Must be time served or hold a City and Guilds Level 3 / BTEC Level 3 or higher (NVQ) OR be Apprentice trained.
* Strong electrical understanding of machinery and associated elements.
* Experience of working in a heavy industry environment.
* Health and safety conscious.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines.
* PLC fault finding and ideally programming experience.
On offer for the successful Maintenance Engineer:
* 3 shifts rotating earlies, afters, nights.
