EXPERIENCED DIGGER DRIVER REQUIRED - CENTRAL LONDON

£220-280 per day (£18-23 per hour)
Pertemps is recruiting on behalf of a leading civil engineering contractor for an experienced Digger Driver to work on a specialist project in Central London.


PROJECT DETAILS

* Duration: 10-day project starting 23rd June 2025
* Location: Bermondsey, London - near Underground station
* Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm
* Equipment: Under 10 tons digger operation


PROJECT SCOPE & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Infrastructure Replacement & Barrier Installation Project

This specialist project involves the complete replacement of existing infrastructure and installation of new security barriers at a Central London site.

Primary Tasks:
1. Infrastructure Replacement: Complete removal of existing structures and foundations
2. Foundation Work: Excavation and removal of old concrete foundations, preparation for new reinforced concrete pad construction
3. Barrier Installation: Installation of new security barriers and associated groundworks
4. Precision Excavation: Careful trenching and excavation work around existing utilities
