General Teacher – Support Students to Re-engage and Thrive
Based in Bovington | Occasional travel to Blandford Forum | KS3–KS4 | Full-Time
Are you a versatile and passionate teacher who can connect with students who need you most? We’re seeking a committed General Teacher to join our supportive team, working with KS3 and KS4 students with SEMH needs, many of whom are at risk of exclusion from mainstream education.
This is a unique opportunity to deliver a broad and engaging curriculum in a nurturing environment that puts relationships and wellbeing first.
About the Role:
Based in Bovington, with occasional support required in Blandford Forum – driving is essential
Work with KS3–KS4 students who require additional support to stay engaged in education
Deliver AM and PM sessions focused on a broad, mixed curriculum
Plan and teach Functional Skills Maths and English as core elements of the day
Support students both academically and emotionally as they re-engage with mainstream settings
What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
Experience with SEMH or vulnerable learners is highly desirable
A flexible, trauma-informed approach to teaching
Ability to manage behaviour effectively and build strong, positive relationships
Middle school teachers with broad subject knowledge are encouraged to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
