Are you an organised Project Coordinator in the East Midlands ready to take the next step in your career? We're hiring for a growing bespoke joinery and fit-out business delivering high-profile projects nationwide. This role offers the opportunity to coordinate a wide variety of bespoke joinery, shopfitting and POS display projects, ensuring they run smoothly from initial design through to installation. Our client is a well-established, family-founded company operating within bespoke joinery, shopfitting and point-of-sale display manufacturing. With in-house CNC routing, finishing and installation capabilities they partner with leading design studios and brands to deliver high-quality projects across the UK. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a central role in managing project delivery, acting as the key link between design, workshop and site teams. You\'ll coordinate schedules, resources and client communications to keep projects on track, on budget and up to quality standards. This position is well suited to a Project Coordinator who values autonomy and ownership. You will be trusted to run your projects without unnecessary micromanagement, taking responsibility for problem-solving, client liaison and delivery. You\'ll be part of a supportive team, but with the freedom to manage your own workload and see projects through from start to finish.
Responsibilities
* Acting as the main point of contact between internal teams, clients and suppliers.
* Preparing and maintaining project schedules, tracking progress and ensuring milestones are achieved.
* Coordinating resources across design, workshop and installation to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Supporting procurement and cost management, including gathering supplier quotes.
* Monitoring project risks and proactively developing solutions to keep delivery on track.
* Ensuring quality standards and compliance are maintained throughout.
* Preparing documentation for project handovers and client sign-off.
Qualifications
To be successful in this Project Coordinator role, you will bring strong organisational skills and ideally experience within a joinery, construction small works or fit-out environment. You will also have:
* Proven experience in project coordination or administration.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects at once.
* Excellent communication skills and confidence liaising with clients, suppliers and colleagues.
* A proactive approach with the ability to take ownership and solve problems independently.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project) or similar project management tools.
* Knowledge of joinery, fit-out or construction would be advantageous but not essential.
