Business Teacher
Location: Corby, Northamptonshire
Contract: Full-time (part-time considered)
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Start Date: ASAP / September
Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a secondary school in the Corby area to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Business Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking department.
This is an excellent opportunity to teach Business across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching Level 2 and Level 3 (KS5) courses for experienced candidates. Applications are welcome from ECTs and experienced teachers.
The role will involve:
1. Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality Business lessons
2. Teaching Business and related subjects across KS3 and KS4, and potentially KS5
3. Assessing and tracking student progress to ensure high achievement
4. Contributing to the development and planning of the Business curriculum
5. Maintaining high standards of behaviour, achievement, and classroom practice
The ideal candidate will:
6. Hold QTS (or be working towards it)
7. Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for Business and Enterprise
8. Be able to motivate students of all abilities
9. Have high expectations for student progress, behaviour, and achievement
10. Be committed to inclusive practice and continuous professional development
