Major Players are partnering with an esteemed independent, strategic creative agency who are looking to hire a Mid-Weight Brand Strategist to join their growing team. The agency specialises in communications, digital, design, film and innovation, working with purpose-led brands across the UK and globally. The team is deeply values-driven, partnering only with organisations that stand for positive impact and long-term growth. This role sits at the heart of the agency, connecting Creative and Client Services while playing a key part in its innovation and growth studio. The ideal candidate combines analytical thinking, curiosity, creativity, and a passion for helping brands define their strategic direction. Key Responsibilities Gather, organise and analyse qualitative and quantitative insights, including brand audits, competitive landscape reviews, customer research and market intelligence Support and lead strategy development processes across positioning, naming, brand architecture, communications planning and engagement strategies Define client challenges clearly and articulate the agency's point of view Present insights, ideas and strategic thinking clearly in writing and in person Contribute to crafting compelling recommendations, presentations and points of view for clients Test ideas, gather feedback and refine strategic output Understand client businesses and objectives, translating them into strong strategic direction Produce informed and intelligent strategic plans to support effective campaigns Collaborate with internal teams to generate original ideas and strategic frameworks Present findings internally and externally Identify challenges within client briefs or strategies and propose solutions Work closely with senior strategy leadership to refine and improve strategic approaches Skills & Experience Ability to simplify complex concepts Proven experience developing strategic plans that deliver measurable value Strong understanding of brand and/or marketing strategy Comfortable analysing quantitative data (e.g., Excel) Able to manage multiple projects and balance priorities Forward-thinking, proactive and solutions-focused Positive collaborator who thrives in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment Genuine interest in brand, creative and production worlds Experience working on research-led projects or developing thought leadership Previous agency experience is essential Hours: Full time Salary: up to £45,000, depending on experience Office Location: Kent Office requirements: 1-2 days per week in the office, depending where you're based Major Players are the UK's leading marketing and creative talent agency, and over the last three decades we've consistently championed our people and communities.
