We have a new job opportunity for Seasonal Production Operatives commencing mid March until 12th April at our state-of-the-art food manufacturing factory, based in Haverfordwest.
Details of the role
You will be responsible for:
* Grading, packing BDUS and stacking trays;
* Operating plant and equipment designed to sort, grade, wash and pack fresh produce;
* Operating a pallet truck within the packaging and cold store areas to ensure the efficient and effective movement of produce to meet operational needs;
* Ensuring that products are packed, labelled and stored correctly;
* Escalating problems with plant, machinery or product quality to a line leader, in a timely and proactive manner;
* Keeping your work area clean, tidy and safe.
Hours
Full time (40 hrs per week)
Opportunity to work overtime
Fixed term contract
You will work a variable shift pattern including weekends and bank holidays
About the candidate
You do not need previous experience in this kind of work as we will provide you with all the training you need. What's more important to us is that you have the skills and attitudes to do the job well and that you have pride in doing a good job.
You should:
· Be a strong team-player
· Have strong communication skills, verbal and written
· Be able to follow instructions
· Have good initiative
· Be willing to be flexible to cover shifts across every day of the week
* Be able to get to and from work for 7am and late in the evening
