20 hours per week, 2 posts, Evening & Overnight over 7 days, including weekends.
Overview
We have an exciting opportunity to join the NHS Fife Out of Hours Nursing Team at Glenrothes Hospital and Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline. The role involves caring for patients in their own homes and requires a flexible approach to working within the community.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver a high standard of safe and effective patient care within patients' homes.
* Work autonomously and make clinical decisions, using excellent communication and clinical decision‑making skills.
* Travel within the Fife area to provide service; the post holder may be required to work across Fife.
* Complete the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.
Requirements
* Excellent communication and clinical decision‑making skills.
* Flexibility in working within the community and interest in caring for patients at home.
* Ability to work autonomously.
* Previous clinical experience relevant to community nursing (Band 5 requirements).
* Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom and, where applicable, right to work or sponsorship before application.
