About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Oldbury. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire and engage students in the world around them, developing their understanding of both physical and human geography.
Role Responsibilites:
Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 teaching desirable but not essential).
Develop creative and differentiated resources that challenge and inspire learners.
Assess student progress effectively and provide constructive feedback in line with school policies.
Promote a love of learning and curiosity about the world through interactive teaching strategies.
Maintain a safe, respectful, and positive classroom environment.
Uphold the school’s values, policies, and commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing.
Role Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Geography or a related subject.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for geography education.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
A team player with a positive, proactive attitude.
Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
