Commercial Dispute Resolution Solicitor (NQ through to Partner Level)
We’re growing our Dispute Resolution Team at Field Seymour Parkes LLP and are looking for talented solicitors with strong litigation experience to join us. We are looking for NQ applicants all the way through to future partners (or someone ready to step into the role of partner now).
These are key hires for us to grow our team. The partner level role is part of a strategic succession plan within a well-established and highly regarded team.
Who We're Looking For
We’re seeking someone with a passion for and a solid track record in commercial litigation.
You’ll have experience in, or be willing to develop your ability to undertake, a broad mix of disputes, which may include:
* Shareholder and boardroom disputes
* Commercial contract claims
* Insolvency litigation
* Professional negligence
* Breach of warranty claims
* Post-termination restrictions
* IP and cross-border disputes
* Unfair prejudice petitions
* Injunctive relief
* International arbitration
You’ll work collaboratively on larger matters and take ownership of your own caseload, with the opportunity to develop your practice and client base further.
What You'll Need
* Hard-working, commercially-minded, and solution-focused
* Able to handle (in line with your experience level) complex and high-value litigation
* Capable of working independently and mentoring others
* Willingness to engage in peer-to-peer discussions with senior colleagues
* A network of clients or referrers — or a proven track record in winning work

We advise a mix of large multinationals and ambitious SMEs. Examples of clients we can name publicly, include: Volvo, Honda, ITA, Whistl, HR Wallingford, and SPP Pumps
Recent Work Highlights
* Acting for a former director in a $450m+ fiduciary duty dispute with administrators
* Professional negligence claim in the energy sector (~£1m)
* High-stakes contractual claim and counterclaim in the defence sector
* Cross-border dispute relating to breach of a JV agreement (~£66m claim)
