We are recruiting now for Support Practitioners within the Cruden Bay and Ellon areas of Aberdeenshire. On offer is a variety of hours ranging from full time, part time and relief. Due to the location, we are looking for people with a UK driving licence who can drive a manual work vehicle. Whist this is a desirable quality we will consider non drivers. About the service Being a Support Practitioner involves working directly with adults and supporting them with all aspects of their life including developing life skills such as communication, social skills, and encouraging independence. The area of Housing Support means you will work with people within their own homes supporting them with their personal care such as bathing and toileting, medication administration, meal preparation, inspiring a healthy life style, and household tasks such as cleaning and laundry. Other areas include encouraging the involvement of activities such as seeing friends, taking part in social gatherings, long drives, walks and swimming, fly cups and picnics, and when the weather is not so good arts and crafts, indoor games or pamper sessions.
