Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for young children
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Provide individualised attention and support to each child
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities
- Collaborate with parents and families to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education
- Maintain accurate records of each child's progress and development
- Follow all health and safety guidelines and protocols
Requirements:
- Full and relevant childcare qualification Level 2 or 3
- Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children
