Our rapid progress has been recently validated by both RISE and the DfE, evidenced by our rising attendance figures and a firmly embedded culture of high expectations. To build on this momentum, we are seeking a resilient and proactive Behaviour Improvement Officer to join us during this period of change.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a school dedicated to ensuring every child receives the highest quality of education, regardless of their starting point. This position is the vital link between our corridors and classrooms. Drawing on your background in education or working with young people, you will provide a visible, proactive presence across the school by patrolling key areas to uphold our high expectations and maintain a purposeful learning environment.
This role is about much more than supervision; we are looking for a specialist in resolution who can de‑escalate situations with the use techniques to resolve issues on the spot. We are looking for someone to work closely with teaching staff and our Pastoral Team and who has the ability to get students back into lessons with a "ready to learn" mindset.
What you will bring:
* A proven track record of working with young people (Education, Sports Coaching or Youth Work).
* The ability to uphold high standards and remain resilient under pressure.
* A genuine commitment to being part of a journey of change and improving the lives of our students.
What we are looking for:
* The ability to engage effectively with young people, staff, and parents.
* A calm, patient approach when navigating challenging behaviours and establishing firm boundaries while building positive relationships.
* A team player who works seamlessly across the school to support student wellbeing alongside academic progress.
* A dedication to equality, diversity and safeguarding, treating every student as an individual.
* The ability to accurately record and report incidents to ensure student welfare is tracked and managed.
If you are enthusiastic about making a difference and want to work in an environment that values both your professional development and the holistic growth of our students, we encourage you to apply. This is an ideal role for an experienced behaviour lead or someone with a transferable skill set ready for a new challenge in education.
