People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Walton Summit, Preston.

Rates of Pay
* Days: £16.50 per hour
* Nights: £17.50 per hour
* Saturday days: £18.00 per hour
* Saturday nights: £19.00 per hour
* Sunday days: £18.50 per hour
* Sunday nights: £19.50 per hour
Day to Day Duties
Your duties as a Class 1 Driver will involve but not be limited to:
* Curtain-sider work, 2/3 deliveries per shift
* Operate and drive various Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
* Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
* Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
* Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
* Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
