We are currently working with one of the UKs leading developers as they are hiring for a Quantity Surveyor to join their North West London RC frame, multiphase scheme. The scheme will have 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments and a number of premium facilities including, gym, cinema and office space.
The Role
As Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial management of the development, supporting the successful delivery of this high-profile scheme. Working alongside the project and commercial teams, you’ll be responsible for overseeing budgets, managing subcontractor packages, cost reporting, and ensuring value for money across all stages of the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all aspects of cost planning, budgeting and forecasting
* Procure and manage subcontractor packages and monitor performance
* Conduct valuations, variations, and final accounts
* Prepare and present accurate cost reports to senior management
* Ensure compliance with contracts and procurement strategies
* Contribute to risk management and cost control procedures.
About You
* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
* Previous experience in a residential new-build environment
* Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
* Experience working on large-scale developments is advantageous.
