1:1 Tutor - Lowestoft
Prospero Teaching is looking for an SEN Tutor in or around Lowestoft to provide tuition for children currently out of education.
CONTRACT DETAILS
* Location - Lowestoft
* Position - SEN Tutor
* Type of work - Contract
* Start date - ASAP
* Duration / Likely Duration - Dependent on each student.
* Contract type - Temporary.
* Full time/part time - Part time and full time depending on availability.
* Rate of pay - £25 per hour
* Hours - Working hours can differ, 6 - 30 hours per week available.
As an SEN Tutor, you must be able to deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge gaps in pupils' education and boost engagement and attainment levels. This opportunity is great for an experienced teacher who is looking to step away from the classroom to offer more personalised, enjoyable lessons.
Prospero Teaching will work closely with you to monitor the progression of each pupil and support effective learning.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
* QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent
* 6 months+ experience working in a UK school
* Up to date safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable but not essential)
* Experience working with SEN or similar.
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional child-related references that cover the last two years
