Your role will include:
9. Communicating with the relevant people and following personalised care plans to ensure the specific needs of individuals with complex mental health and behavioural challenges are met
10. Providing emotional and practical support to individuals in managing their mental health
11. Assisting with activities that encourage social interaction, community access, and personal growth
12. Offering meal preparation and assistance, considering dietary needs and preferences
13. Supporting with medication management, ensuring all care protocols are followed
14. Assisting with finances and promoting independence where possible
15. Helping with mobility and moving & handling using appropriate equipment (training provided)
16. Providing personal care to promote hygiene and dignity, where necessary
17. Keeping accurate records of care provided, ensuring the needs of each individual are met
18. Supporting individuals in developing positive coping strategies and resilience
