Responsibilities
 * Manage the full‑life project delivery process for our client sponsors.
 * Apply strong commercial acumen in project, contract and risk management to ensure delivery of high‑quality projects to time and budget.
 * Collaborate with suppliers, client representatives, technical specialists and other partners to deliver successful outcomes.
 * Monitor and forecast expenditure, ensuring compliance with EA guidance.
 * Co‑ordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering, construction, flood & coastal risk management and related fields.
Qualifications & Experience
 * A degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline.
 * Experience in project and contract management, ideally within engineering, construction and/or flood & coastal risk management.
 * Track record of delivering results on technically challenging projects through coordination of a technical team.
 * Commercial experience including understanding of different procurement approaches and contract management.
 * Experience of project financial management and cost forecasting.
 * Strong knowledge and experience of Microsoft applications, including Excel and (preferably) Project.
 * Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
 * Experience of report writing including business cases.
 * Risk management experience.
 * Health and safety competence.
 * Desirable: working toward chartered membership of a professional body such as ICE, CIWEM or APMP.
 * Experience of NEC contracts; CDM X63 certification.
 * Experience of preparing scope of services for appraisal contracts, detailed design commissions and construction contract awards.
