About the Role
We’re currently recruiting adaptable and dependable Cover Supervisors to support a variety of well-managed secondary schools across Watford on a day-to-day supply basis.
This role is ideal for those who enjoy working in different school environments and want the flexibility to choose when they work. Whether you're exploring a career in education, gaining classroom experience, or seeking a more flexible schedule—this opportunity could be a great fit.
We welcome applications from graduates, trainee teachers, experienced educators, and youth workers with relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the regular teacher
* Keep students focused and ensure school behaviour policies are followed
* Manage classroom behaviour confidently and professionally
* Provide feedback to teaching staff on student engagement and conduct
* Adapt quickly to different subjects and school settings
* Be punctual, proactive, and reliable for daily assignments
What We’re Looking For
* Experience working with young people in schools or youth settings
* Strong classroom presence and effective behaviour management
* Flexibility and resilience across varied age groups and school environments
* Professional communication and a positive attitude
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
