Job Description
Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in a data-driven environment?
As a Platform Engineer in our Retail Technology team, you’ll be at the heart of delivering reliable, secure and high-performing data engineering services. You’ll work closely with product teams, third-party providers and internal stakeholders to ensure our platforms run smoothly and deliver great outcomes for our customers.
What you'll be doing:
* Monitoring and supporting environments to identify and resolve issues
* Managing incidents, problems, requests and changes across services
* Operating access control processes and managing joiners, movers and leavers
* Leading quality assurance and control activities across data services
* Building strong relationships with service providers and IT teams
* Identifying and mitigating risks through appropriate governance
* Reviewing system and process changes to assess customer impact
* Embedding fairness and value principles across our application estate
Qualifications
Who we're looking for:
* Knowledge of ITIL Framework, Agile product models and AWS
* Experience in IT Operations and first-line support for data services
* Familiarity with SQL, monitoring tools and ServiceNow
* Experience with data warehouses, ETL/ELT and streaming processes
* Strong documentation and process improvement skills
* Any experience with Access Management would be a huge plus!
